35:22. എങ്കിലും യോശീയാവു വിട്ടുതിരിയാതെ അവനോടു യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു വേഷംമാറി; നെഖോ പറഞ്ഞ ദൈവവചനങ്ങളെ കേൾക്കാതെ അവൻ മെഗിദ്ദോതാഴ്വരയിൽ യുദ്ധം ചെയ്‍വാൻ ചെന്നു.

35:22. But Josiah did not turn back from him; he disguised himself for battle. He did not take seriously the words of Necho which he had received from God; he went to fight him in the Plain of Megiddo.

35:22. But Josiah refused to listen to Neco, to whom God had indeed spoken, and he would not turn back. Instead, he disguised himself and led his army into battle on the plain of Megiddo.
